What are the rules for booking and unbooking?
Cancellations up to a maximum of 4 rooms must be made no later than the day before at 12.00, the same applies to online booking but then a cancellation fee of SEK 100 is charged. For groups / conferences over 5 rooms, specific group and conference rules apply, which can be found in your confirmation.

We show that we sell hotel packages and gift cards.
Prices include VAT, shipping and currency. The currency must be indicated at the time of payment, when the final summary of all goods and services ordered must also be shown.
Complaints, returns and refunds policy.
"Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. The gift card is valid at both the hotel and the restaurant. The gift card will be emailed to the selected email address, make sure you have provided the correct address, after purchase. Validity period is 1 year."

In case of cancellations, an administrative fee of 200:- will be charged for cancellations where advance payment has been made.
General
You and the hotel will agree on the conditions of the room rental. Unless a special agreement has been made, the following rules apply. Special rules also apply to conferences and group bookings.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellation of accommodation must be made no later than 12:00 noon the day before arrival or full charge will apply.
- Cancellation of promotions must be made at least 7 days before arrival
- Cancellation of major events must be made at least 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation with less than 30 days to arrival, full price will be charged.
Ordering and confirmation
An order is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking number. This can be done verbally, in writing or via the booking system. When placing an order, you are obliged to state your name, address, telephone number, arrival and departure times and how payment is to be made. Of course, you also need to inform us if there are any dietary deviations.
Arrival and departure
The hotel room is at your disposal from 15:00 at the latest on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must leave the room by 11:00 at the latest. Conference and group participants are requested to check out before 11:00. The room is reserved for arrival at 18:00 at the latest. If you are arriving later, you must inform the hotel in advance. Foreign guests are required to present a valid passport and pay on arrival.
Cancellation and no-show
Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking, cancellations must be made no later than 12.00 noon the day before arrival. If you fail to cancel or cancel later than 12.00 noon the day before arrival, you will be charged for one day. If the hotel has incurred special costs as a result of your booking, you will have to pay these.
Early departure and indefinite stay
If you have booked for a specific period of time but leave earlier, you will be charged the same as for late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you stayed at the hotel, you will pay for an additional day. If you are staying at the hotel for an indefinite period and extend your stay by one day at a time, you should notify your departure by 12 noon the day before. Otherwise you will have to pay for an extra day. If the hotel can no longer accommodate you, you have the right to be informed by 12 noon the day before departure.
Hotel obligations and your own preferences
If the hotel cannot provide you with a room on arrival, as agreed, you have the right to be provided with an equivalent or better room within the hotel or in a hotel of an equivalent standard at no extra cost. The hotel is non-smoking. In case of violation of the smoking ban, the hotel has the right to charge the customer.
Payment
The hotel bill is payable when you receive it, usually on arrival at the hotel. We accept VISA, Mastercard. Tärnaby Fjällhotell reserves the right to change prices. Tärnaby Fjällhotell is cashless.
Do not leave luggage unattended in the lobby. The hotel has no obligation to store property that is of high value. The hotel has no strict liability for the property you keep in your hotel room.
Your own safety
Always find out where the emergency exits, alarm button and fire extinguisher are. Look for details in the information on the inside of the hotel room door.
General rules and cancellation policy for group, event, wedding and conference bookings according to the rules established by SHR.
1. no later than four weeks before the start of the event, the client must inform Tärnaby Fjällhotell of the number of participants and hotel and conference facilities.
2. No later than two weeks prior to the start of the event, the customer shall provide Tärnaby Fjällhotell with a list of participants with arrival and departure times. At the same time, the customer shall submit a program and information about the equipment and furnishings desired. This must also include times for meals. If there are requests for special arrangements, such as changed meal times, à la carte dinner, weddings or other activities, we are grateful if this is notified at least two weeks in advance.
3. In the event of cancellation later than four weeks before the event, the customer shall compensate Tärnaby Fjällhotell with 75% of the agreed price, to the extent that the premises could not be resold.
4. In the event of cancellation later than two weeks prior to the start of the event, the customer shall reimburse Tärnaby Fjällhotell in full for the agreed price, provided that the premises could not be resold.
5. If Tärnaby Fjällhotell has incurred special costs or expenses as a result of the cancellation or reduction, these shall be reimbursed in full by the customer.
6. the customer is liable to Tärnaby Fjällhotell for full payment of all costs under the agreement, even when these are ultimately to be paid by the participants individually.
7. If the costs of procuring or providing agreed goods and services increase as a result of increased taxes, devaluation, government decisions or comparable circumstances, Tärnaby Fjällhotell is entitled to charge a price supplement corresponding to the cost increase. Tärnaby Fjällhotell shall immediately inform the customer of the price supplement.
8. Strikes, lockouts, fires, power cuts, significant restrictions in deliveries or other circumstances beyond Tärnaby Fjällhotell's control entitle Tärnaby Fjällhotell to cancel the agreement without any obligation to pay damages.
9. Tärnaby Fjällhotell is fully liable to the customer for its obligations under the agreement.
10. As a rule, rooms booked can be occupied from around 15.00 on the first day.
11. Tärnaby Fjällhotell has full liquor rights, which means, among other things, that liquor brought to the hotel may only be consumed in hotel rooms. In other public areas of the hotel, Tärnaby Fjällhotell has a serving license and only drinks purchased at the hotel may be served.
12. Tärnaby Fjällhotell reserves the right to change prices.

When you book a hotel through an Online Travel Agency, such as Booking.com or hotels.com (digital partner), you provide them with your personal data. This personal data is the responsibility of and handled by each operator in accordance with their privacy policy.
When a booking is made through an OTA, they send certain personal data to the hotel to confirm that the booking has been made.
